AWS Mirror Integration

Introduction

Ace Intl Media Ltd has successfully completed its full AWS Mirror Integration, establishing a robust, fully redundant multi-cloud environment designed to deliver zero downtime, enhanced speed, and total operational continuity.

This milestone positions Ace Intl Media Ltd among the UK’s most advanced digital infrastructure companies, ensuring that all hosted environments remain stable, mirrored, and instantly recoverable between Google Cloud VM and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Infrastructure Overview

The integration forms part of our Infrastructure Resilience & Server Recovery Framework, combining automation, monitoring, and redundancy into a seamless system.

Key components include:

  • Primary Operations Server (Google Cloud VM): Hosts core services, databases, and client environments under Plesk.
  • AWS Mirror Server (Amazon EC2): Functions as a live replication of the Google VM, synchronising files, databases, and configurations in real time.
  • Automatic Failover System: Instantly redirects traffic to the AWS mirror if the Google Cloud VM becomes unreachable, ensuring continuous uptime.
  • Data Synchronisation Protocols: Powered by encrypted Rsync automation and cron-based replication with SHA-256 checksum validation.
  • Secure Connectivity: Utilises SSH key pairs and firewalled ports with IP whitelisting for bidirectional access control.
  • Performance Monitoring: Both environments are tracked via integrated uptime monitors and custom alert scripts, reporting anomalies before they affect users.

System Architecture

The mirrored system operates as a dual-cloud replication network with continuous synchronisation between the two environments.
This architecture enables AIM engineers to perform maintenance, updates, or version rollbacks on one server while the other remains live and fully functional.

Process Summary:

  1. Real-time file and database sync between Google Cloud VM and AWS EC2.
  2. Secure replication using encrypted tunnel scripts.
  3. Instant DNS redirection in failover scenarios via health-check triggers.
  4. Post-failover reversion back to primary once stability is confirmed.
  5. Logging and audit tracking for every switch and recovery event.

Benefits to Clients

This multi-cloud configuration guarantees clients:

  • Uninterrupted service even during network or hardware outages.
  • Increased resilience against regional failures or provider issues.
  • Faster content delivery through geographically optimised routes.
  • Higher data security with mirrored encrypted backups.
  • Peace of mind knowing that all client operations run on fault-tolerant infrastructure.

Future Development

Ace Intl Media Ltd plans to extend this mirrored model across additional platforms, including automated cPanel replication and AI-driven failover prediction.
Once full automation is achieved, failover transitions will occur without manual intervention, representing the next step in AIM’s infrastructure evolution.

Closing Statement

“Our infrastructure now functions as a truly autonomous mirrored system,” said Aaryan Aahtish, Managing Director of Ace Intl Media Ltd.
“If one platform goes down, the other takes over instantly. This ensures reliability, performance, and confidence for every client we serve.”
